INSPIRING DIGITAL SKILLS EXCELLENCE AND SUPPORTING DIGITAL UPSKILLING

DEVON | PLYMOUTH | SOMERSET | TORBAY

#Train4Tomorrow – free digital and technical training for Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay residents worth £3,000

Are you, or do you know someone, looking to advance or move into a new career in 2021? If so, the Digital Skills Partnership is pleased to announce it has secured £1.7 million pounds from the Department of Education to deliver #Train4Tomorrow which will enable individuals to advance their digital and technical skills in areas that have open vacancies and are resilient to the current economic downturn.

With ten, free bootcamps to choose from, there are opportunities to move into cyber, data science, software, digital marketing, IT, digital for healthcare, welding, photonics, engineering, construction or electronics for renewables or automotive. The courses are flexible and take place, in a variety of locations – including fully online – and range from requiring between 5 to 25 hours a week. Designed to fit around people in-work, working part-time or those with caring responsibilities.

The #Train4Tomorrow bootcamps enable people to empower themselves with the digital and technical skills needed to advance in (or switch to) the jobs of tomorrow, which can lead to higher-paid roles within in-demand sectors. The  bootcamps will be delivered over 12 weeks, enabling people to retrain for a new career or learn new skills for a fresh start to 2021. Everyone who completes the bootcamp will be connected to employers with open vacancies and guaranteed a job interview in their chosen digital or technical discipline.

The bootcamps are recruiting now, ready to begin in January and are  open to adults aged 19+ resident in Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay.
