UCAS have updated their list of virtual university tours and videos.
With more than 100 universities to chose from, students and parents can see what a specific campus looks like, and what facilities are on offer.

Cyber Discovery
Cyber Discovery is a government funded, extracurricular programme for UK students aged 13-18 years old. It is completely free and students can take part on their own or as part of a Cyber Discovery Club.
With £1.9 billion HM Government investment and 3.5 million jobs in the Cyber Industry expected by 2021 this is a great way to get an insight into the sector.

Property Needs You is a website that identifies over 100 jobs in property, has a free resource centre and an interactive quiz.
It is a UK initiative that has been developed in conjunction with a number of companies from the property sector, with the aim to inspire the next generation of property professionals from all backgrounds and cultures.

The Brilliant Club
The Brilliant Club, a university access charity supporting pupils from non-selective state schools to access university, has created a series of resources (updated weekly) for pupils to use whilst they work at home.
You can find them here, where you can also sign up for their weekly newsletter for schools.
The Brilliant Club Scholars programme offers the opportunity to work with a PhD researcher to experience university style learning. It helps pupils develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to secure a place at a highly-selective university. World Skills UK Careers Advice toolkit
The World Skills Digital Careers Advice Toolkit is a guide to help support young people with employability skills and careers information.

Around the patch – South Devon College
South Devon Schools join the Medical Mavericks
Careers in Health may never be more important to promote than now! During National Careers Week The Careers Hub and South Devon College welcomed staff and over 100 pupils from local schools and colleges to a Medical Mavericks workshops.
Students were able to take blood from a fake arm, record their own ECG, try key hole surgery, see inside their body with an ultrasound machine, take a picture of the inside of their eye and much more.
Every student had their own medical observation sheet to fill in during the workshop, and were able to take home a print out of their ECG.

Top Tip
Identify some of the key roles that are working to keep the country going at the moment such as medical & care staff, logistics, teachers, supermarket staff etc and check up on websites such as Allaboutcareers or Careerpilot as to what these roles entail.
Once the students come back to school you can develop some activities around these vital job roles.
