GD19 – Plymouth Eastern Corridor Cycle Network

Plymouth Eastern Corridor Cycle Network

The Eastern Corridor Strategic Cycling Network scheme aims to continue the recent transformational shift to walking and cycling in Plymouth by improving connectivity within the city’s heart.

A new direct route will link North Cross to the city centre and the waterfront. The improvements to the coastal link between the harbour and Laira Rail Bridge and its extension through to Saltram Meadow (previously known as Morley Park) will provide an attractive cycling environment for both residents and visitors to Plymouth. The enhancement to the Saltram Park Path will improve cycle access from the city to the surrounding countryside.
