GB07 – Exeter College Future Skills Centre

Future Skills Centre

The transformation of the former Flybe Training Academy into the Future Skills Centre will enable people and skills development to be at the heart of the economic recovery in East Devon, Exeter and the wider region.

The project is a result of an ambitious collaboration between Devon County Council and Exeter College.

When fully operational, the new Centre will provide 400 young people and adults a year with new skills to move into the economy of the future. Investment in the building will make it more energy efficient; improving the overall carbon footprint of the building.

The College has been allocated £1million from the Getting Building Fund to enhance, refurbish and equip the building, ready to deliver the skills of today and the future to generations of learners.

Getting Building Funding: £1m
