What do other participants say about the course?

“It’s been really interesting to see what (our employee) is learning around coding; learning Python and when you then couple that with a richer understanding of data and how you can utilise data that’s a really fascinating piece. Looking at how we can apply that in the workspace has so many potentials… That’s probably the biggest beneficial thing that will come out of this course.”

Employer of Course Participant

“I’m a single parent, with two children living at home with me. I also have a full-time job, so I don’t have a lot of big chunks of time spare. I was able to make this bite-sized learning work for me; accessing it through the app on my phone, accessing it through my laptop when I had the chance… (This programme) tends to fit in more easily around life that way.”

Course Participant

“I’m interested in scaling up (my business)… Implementing these technologies is going to allow me to go from just being myself as a sole trader to being an employer and hopefully taking on more people here in the South West.”

Course Participant

“I currently work in a Python team. Being largely self-taught it’s made a massive difference day-to-day. In fact, I’d come in in the morning and immediately apply the things that I had learned the night before in a video. My team would say to me “Do you know how to do this?” and I can say “Yes, I learned it last night!”. It’s been really helpful that way. It happened today in fact!”
