T-levels: Industry Placements Webinar for employers – 18 June

Industry placements are an extended period of structured time that a student spends in the workplace, developing real skills and making a meaningful contribution to the organisation. They are also a fundamental part of the government’s reforms to technical education (T Levels).

What might this look like in the current circumstances?

On 18 June, the Department for Education (DfE) and the Strategic Development Network (SDN) are hosting an important webinar for employers, giving an update on industry placements and T Levels, how they might contribute to workforce development in the current circumstances, and the support now available. There will also be chance to hear from two high-profile employers who have already been offering placements.

Who is the briefing for?

This event is for anyone who would like to know the latest about industry placements. The content has been designed with HR / Learning and Development staff / Team Managers in mind.

Speakers and presenters The webinar has been commissioned by the Department for Education and will be delivered by the Strategic Development Network (SDN). SDN is at the forefront of helping organisations to explore how apprenticeships and technical education can contribute to the development of their workforce.
