HotSW LEP Board – Non Executive Directors Required

The Heart of the South West (HotSW) LEP (which covers Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay) has already proven itself to be a partnership that gets things done. By championing our priorities and putting forward a credible portfolio of investable projects, HotSW LEP has been successful at building the business case for approaching £500m of investment in the local economy.

We are now seeking two new private sector Non-Executive Directors (NEDs). Candidates must have a strong business background at the most senior / owner level, and possess the necessary level of experience and understanding of our Strategic Economic Plan agendas to be confident of making an immediate and positive contribution to the Board. Ideally one of the candidates appointed will be in a bigger business; the other a SME or social enterprise.

The NEDs will be required to attend Board meetings once every two months and periodic meetings or events across the HotSW LEP area, related to their areas of expertise to support LEP activity. The role is un-remunerated.

To request a full briefing pack, please call Aaron Beider at REED on 0117 906 0009. Please note, the closing date for all applications is June 19th 2015.
