Our purpose is to help the schools improve their careers education and we couldn’t do it without the support of the businesses across the Heart of the South West.

Our amazing team of Enterprise Advisers volunteer their time to provide strategic direction and advice for the schools that they are matched with, as well providing operational activities. The wider business network supports a wide-range of activities for students. Research has shown that students who receive four or more meaningful encounters with employers during their education are 86% less likely to become NEET (not in employment, education or training).

The businesses and organisations in HotSW create the future for our young people and lots of them are dedicated to providing apprenticeships, work experience and training opportunities.

We hope these case studies give you an insight in to some of the great activities that we have the pleasure of being a part of and that they demonstrate how schools, local authorities and businesses working together can create bright futures for all our young people.
